CityVero is locally owned and operated in Central NJ. This page discloses how the platform works, who owns it, and how related-party businesses are handled.
Ownership and operation
CityVero is owned and operated by CityVero LLC, a New Jersey limited liability company. The company is headquartered in Manalapan Township, NJ.
CityVero is not backed by outside investors. It is not a platform built to be sold. The goal is a lasting local product for Central NJ towns.
Related-party vendor disclosures
The following businesses have a direct relationship with the founder of CityVero and appear on the platform. Each listing is labeled on its vendor profile page.
All other vendors on CityVero are independently owned businesses with no financial relationship to CityVero LLC.
How verification works
CityVero verifies vendors on a 9-factor rubric: response rate, completeness, review quality, category depth, special activity, NFC engagement, community tenure, local ownership, and compliance history.
Verification tiers (Standard, Verified, Premier) reflect a score on that rubric. The rubric applies equally to independent businesses and to related-party businesses eligible for verification. A business CityVero is legally prohibited from rating, such as the SEC-registered investment adviser noted above, is listed but carries no verification tier.
CityVero does not assign verification tiers in categories where it lacks a competitive reference frame. If a town has one physical therapist, that business is listed but not scored against peers it does not have.

Business model
Vendors pay a monthly or annual fee to maintain a verified listing on CityVero. Founding Charter vendors paid a one-time fee during the launch period and hold their rate permanently.
Member access is free. CityVero does not charge members and does not sell member data to advertisers or third parties.
Pet Protect subscriptions are priced at a flat annual rate. The standard rate is $59/year. Founding members who subscribed during the launch period pay $39/year permanently.
Revenue comes from vendor listings, Pet Protect subscriptions, and future premium member services. No advertising is placed on the platform.
Member data
Member data (name, town, email, dates, pet profile, check-in history) is used to power the member dashboard and personalized features. It is not sold, shared with advertisers, or provided to third parties except as required to operate the service (payment processing, email delivery).
CityVero does not collect or store Protected Health Information. Mental health provider listings are presented as business information only.
Members can request deletion of their account and associated data by emailing [email protected].
